United Way St. Croix Valley & Red Cedar Valleys (UWSCRCV) advance the common good by creating opportunities for all. We focus on projects supporting education, financial stability and health - the building blocks for a good quality of life. We work with businesses, individuals and nonprofits to solve community problems in Burnett, Dunn, Pierce, Pepin, Polk, and St. Croix counties.
UWSCRCV respond to local community needs through our annual workplace campaign and local community impact initiatives. Funds raised support local nonprofits in addressing the areas of greatest need in our communities.
Our community impact initiatives include:
- 211 St. Croix Valley, is an information and referral service that connects callers to the resources available in the community.
- Success By 6 initiative to provides the support children need to be successful.
- Mental Health First Aid training initiative brings critical mental health awareness and resources to our service area.
- John Coughlin Hope Fund provides funding to individuals and families with verifiable emergency needs when other services or funds are unavailable.
- giveBIG St. Croix Valley, is the annual community-wide day of giving that helps local nonprofits raise awareness of their missions, promote their organizations, and connect with new and existing donors to raise funds.
- Community Impact Grants, United Way St. Croix Valley funds nonprofit agency programs in the areas of health, education, and financial stability in Burnett, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties.
In addition to the nonprofit agencies we support each year and our community impact initiatives, we continuously identify and address special needs and opportunities in our communities to ensure we are filling any gaps and responding to the areas of greatest need.
