IMPORTANT NOTICE
United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys (UW Valleys) is dedicated to uplifting individuals through building relationships, connecting resources, and uniting Western Wisconsin.
Applications for a new two-year Community Impact Grant cycle will open in Fall 2026, with funding beginning quarterly in early 2027. Additional information about the 2027-2028 grant cycle will be communicated in early 2026.
UW Valleys Community Impact Grant Program supports 501(c)(3) organizations in Burnett, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties, funding initiatives that enhance the health, education, and financial stability of local residents.
Health: Everyone should be able to make healthy choices for themselves and their families. But there can be lots of barriers in underserved communities. UW Valleys partnerships with local groups expand access to nutritious food and quality healthcare, education and services.
Education: At UW Valleys, we want all kids to soar so we work with the people who care for them — from families and neighbors to schools and community agencies — to connect young people with the support they need.
Financial Security: Everyone deserves the opportunity to earn a living that can sustain a family and build security for future generations. That’s why we’re partnering to help more adults thrive in a career, live in quality housing and build generational wealth.

February 15, 2026: Third Quarterly Payment

HOW WE INVEST
When a donation is made through a United Way workplace campaign, the funds are reinvested into local nonprofit organizations through a United Way Community Impact Grant. UW Valleys looks to invest in organizations whose work and vision align to the goal to measurably increase individual and family well-being so that every person in Western Wisconsin leads a healthy, thriving and secure life.
This is an annual application process where local nonprofits in Burnett, Dunn, Pepin, Pierce, Polk & St. Croix counties who focus their work on health, education or financial stability can apply for funding in support of their program(s).
